Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle (SLO)

Departure from Bibione / Lignano by GT coach with escort. Excursion to Slovenia combining nature and history, with arrival in Postojna for a guided visit of the famous Postojna Caves, one of the largest karst systems in Europe, with over 24 km of tunnels.

The visit starts aboard the characteristic underground train and continues on foot through spectacular illuminated caverns, rich in stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers.

Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Predjama for a visit to the impressive Predjama Castle, a fascinating medieval fortress built into a cliff and linked to the legend of the knight Erasmus.

At the end of the visit, departure for the return journey with arrival in the evening. Entrance fees included.

For this excursion, all participants must carry a valid ID card for international travel or a passport.

For the cave visit, warm clothing is recommended: the internal temperature is around 8°C.

For organisational reasons, the order of visits may be reversed without affecting the content of the programme.
