In the morning, departure from Lignano / Bibione by deluxe coach (GT bus) to Punta Sabbioni, with arrival at approximately 10:00 AM. Boarding of a private motorboat for a 45-minute cruise across the Venetian Lagoon, arriving in Venice.
The guided walking tour begins and lasts approximately 1.5 hours, allowing guests to admire some of the city’s most important monuments, squares, and churches. Guests will stroll through picturesque narrow streets, typical calli and campielli (small Venetian squares), immersing themselves in the magical, unique, and authentic atmosphere of Venice.
Highlights of the tour include the famous Bridge of Sighs, the Doge’s Palace (external visit), former residence of the Doges, rulers of the Republic of Venice, the Porta della Carta, carved like delicate lacework, and the world-renowned St. Mark’s Square, magically built on the water and surrounded by the historic
Procuratie Vecchie and Procuratie Nuove. Guests will also see the Clock Tower with the famous Moors of Venice, the Bell Tower, and the Renaissance Loggetta by Sansovino.
Walking along Venice’s characteristic rii – the small natural canals spread throughout the city – the tour reaches the magnificent Rialto Bridge, built at the very place where the history of Venice began, overlooking the Grand Canal, the city’s longest and undoubtedly most fascinating waterway. A true open-air museum, the Grand Canal is lined with some of the most beautiful palaces on the island.
The guided visit ends near the Rialto Bridge. Free time follows for lunch at a restaurant, a gondola ride, or a tour of the Grand Canal by small motorboats (optional activities not included in the price).
At approximately 4:00 PM, departure from Venice by private motorboat to Punta Sabbioni, followed by return transfer by deluxe coach, with expected arrival around 7:00 PM.
