VIGNETTE FOR MOTORWAYS / EXPRESSWAYS IN SLOVENIA 2008
Slovenia has introduced a motorway /expressway vignette system from 1st July for all vehicles under 3.5 tonnes. Cost is 35,00 Euro for 6 months, 55,00 for 12 months, which can be bought at petrol stations and border posts.



 
Istra

Istra, a small peninsula of Croatia in the upper Adriatic sea, offers a lot of admirable historical and cultural symbols, fabulous coasts with a lot of bays, where the green colour is mixing with the blue of the water. In the small cities, you will discover interesting squares with many picturesque buildings, dominant bell towers and small villages, which are surrounded with a luxuriant vegetation.

 
 
 
Kvarner
The region of Kvarner expands from the Riviera of Opatja to the island Rab, with its bay and its beautiful island Krk, Cres, Loinj, and a myriad of small islands. The rocky coast and the huge spectacular panorama offer admirable cliffs, small sandy beaches and small islands. The natural barrier constitute the mountain Ucka and the mountain massif Velebit and by that Kvarner has a special mild climate the whole year.
 
 
 
Dalmacija
Dalmatia constitutes the southern part of Croatia and is characterized with its wonderful landscapes with a myriad of islands and untouched small islands, impressive bays, rock faces and pinewoods which appears contrary to the blue of the sea. It is a paradise for the nature and sea lovers.
The coast of Dalamatia is embellished with its pleasant small cities and its fisherman villages. In this region have been the Romans, the Greeks and the venetians and they have left important tracks of their history and culture.
